Peterborough United U18 0 - 1 Leyton Orient U18
Puma Youth Alliance Cup Group Four
ORIENT'S youth team secured their berth in the second round of the Puma Youth Alliance Cup with a 1-0 win at Peterborough United on Saturday.
Adam Bolle was the man on target as Kevin Nugent's side ended a five game winless run and sealed third place in the group.
Nugent said: "It was a good performance and exactly what was needed after our last few results.
"We've worked hard on our defensive shape and that helped us out today.
"It's good to be through to the next round and I was pleased with the professionalism of our display."
Victory was earned through Bolle's 43rd minute strike. Louis Crowther worked the channel well and crossed for his strike partner to plant a header beyond the home goalkeeper.
Orient: Daniel Bygrave; Brandon Martin, Ajet Shehu, Patrick O'Donnell, Harry Beautyman; Joe Boakye, Daryl Sydes, Matt Hall, Musa Manneh (Ope Aramona 75); Adam Bolle, Louis Crowther (Jake Argent 65)
