Dagenham & Redbridge 1 - 1 Leyton Orient
Puma Youth Alliance South East Conference
THE YOUTH team extended their unbeaten run to six matches with a 1-1 draw at Dagenham & Redbridge.
Playing at Dagenham's main Victoria Road ground, the O's led through Harry Baker, but poor finishing allowed the home side back into the contest and Kevin Nugent's side had to be content with a point.
Youth team manager Nugent said: "The game was switched to their main ground, which meant it was played on a better pitch to what we're used to at youth level.
"So it was disappointing that we didn't make the most of it. It was a scrappy game and we missed lots of chances.
"We have to be more clinical because at the moment we're putting too much pressure on our defenders."
Baker's goal saw Orient reach the interval with a slender advantage, but Dagenham came back to level midway through the second half when James Norcott levelled the scores.
