Leyton Orient 0 - 3 Queens Park Rangers
Puma Youth Alliance South East Conference

ORIENT'S youngsters ended their Puma Youth Alliance campaign with a 3-0 defeat to QPR on Saturday.

The O's named an inexperienced side, which included four trialists and high-flying Rangers proved too strong for them.

After an evenly-matched opening 30 minutes, the visitors took the lead ten minutes before the interval.

Orient found it more difficult to influence the contest after the break and QPR took advantage of that to take the game beyond the hosts with two further strikes.

Orient's youth development manager Ross Embleton said: "QPR were able to call on players who were more established at this level and that showed in the second half.

"It was a pleasing first half performance but 3-0 was a deserved result in the end."
