Leyton Orient WFC
All the information about the O's Women's team
Leyton Orient Women's Football Club (Orient WFC) compete in the London and South-East Regional Women's Football League (LSERWFL) Premier Division, the third tier of the women's football pyramid: the champions of LSERWFL gain promotion into the FA Women's Premier League. The club also has a development team who play in Division 2N of the Greater London league.
The team enjoyed a successful first season as Orient, finishing third in the league, while also winning the Mayor's Cup Final with a 6-0 success over Tower Hamlets. Virtually all of that side has returned as they push for the 2016-17 league title plus they have added new recruits including defender Vanessa Wilson, midfielder Ellie Paris and ex-England under-15 and under-17 winger Scarlett Smith. The team also welcome back midfielder Tara O’Halloran who missed all of last season with a serious ankle injury.
Orient WFC play their home games on Sundays at 2pm at Mile End Park Stadium (five minutes walk from Mile End tube station) and entry is free so why not head along to support the female O's in their bid for promotion!
Orient WFC are managed by Chris Brayford and you can contact the club at firstname.lastname@example.org.
