Full-back Sean Clohessy penned a two-year deal with the O’s in June 2015 following his departure from Colchester United.

Born in Croydon, Clohessy started his career at Arsenal’s youth academy before moving to Gillingham in 2005 where he made his professional debut.

Following a successful loan spell at Salisbury City the defender joined The Whites on a permanent basis in 2009 where he spent a further year before returning to the Football League with Southend United.

Clohessy went on to make over 150 appearances for the Shrimpers during his three-year stay but was to move to Scotland in 2013 when he signed for Kilmarnock, where he enjoyed a sole season before returning to England to sign for Colchester United in July 2014.

The defender made a total of 37 appearances for the U’s in all competitions during the 2014-15 campaign.
