Left back Callum Kennedy joined Orient in July 2016, penning a one-year deal with the club after leaving AFC Wimbledon.

The defender had helped the Wombles achieve promotion from League Two at the end of the 2015-16 campaign, featuring in all three play-off fixtures as Neal Eardley’s side defeated Plymouth Argyle 2-0 at Wembley to secure their place in League One.

Having started his career at Swindon Town, Kennedy made his professional debut in 2007 for the Robins in a 4-1 victory over Brentford, before moving to Scunthorpe in 2012 following loan spells at Gillingham and Rotherham.

Kennedy was to spend one year at the Iron, moving to AFC Wimbledon in July 2013 where he would go on to make 80 appearances and secure promotion to League One in his final game for the club.
