Nigel Atangana joined the club for an undisclosed fee in January 2015 on an 18-month deal from fellow League Two side Portsmouth.
The Frenchman began his playing career in his homeland with US Avranches, before going on to appear for Dives, Riudellots and Gravelines.
Came over to England and after a couple of trials linked up with Conference South side Havant & Waterlooville where he went on to win the Player of the Year award in 2014.
His performances for the Hawks saw him earn a two-year deal with Pompey, making 48 appearances before joining Orient and making his debut in the 2-0 win at Wycombe Wanderers in January.
Atangana went on to make a total of 16 appearances for the O’s during the 2015-16 season.
