ORIENT continue their pre-season programme on Saturday with a trip to Ebbsfleet United and new signing Nathan Clarke could be involved for the first time.

The former Huddersfield centre back sat out Wednesday’s win at Sutton after only linking up with the club on the day of the game, but is now set for his first run out.

He may be joined in the squad by Scott Cuthbert and Ben Chorley, who missed the Sutton victory with minor niggles, but there are doubts over David Mooney (illness) and Michael Symes.

Trialist midfielders Martin Rowlands, Joe Turner and George Saunders will also be given another chance to shine.

The game at Ebbsfleet’s Stonebridge Road ground kicks off at 3pm and will be on hand with reports and reaction.

Orient’s youth team are also in action on Saturday as they travel to Suffolk to take on Hadleigh. Kick-off there is also 3pm.
