ORIENT goalkeeper Jamie Jones will miss Tuesday’s Capital One Cup match at Charlton Athletic with a shoulder problem.
The O’s stopper, 23, is joined by long term injury victim Lee Butcher on the absentee list, but boss Russell Slade has an otherwise fully fit squad to choose from.
And he could have Jones back quickly as well as he makes good progress after suffering the injury.
As many as eight players could make debuts for the club at The Valley as the east Londoners get their season underway.
Slade told Orient Player: “We’re hoping that Jamie will do some handling work on Wednesday and Thursday, so hopefully he is not too far away.
“We have to take each day as it comes because we know the problems he has had with that injury, but we are hopeful for the weekend.”
