Leyton Orient U18 2 – 2 Peterborough United U18
Football League Youth Alliance SE Conference
ORIENT came back from 2-0 down with three minutes to go to rescue a dramatic point against Peterborough United at their Woodford Green home on Saturday.
The O’s looked dead and buried with the Posh holding what looked to be a strong two-goal advantage as the final whistle neared.
But the Londoners had other ideas and fought back to make sure their unbeaten start to the campaign would continue for a third game.
Elyon Egbeku gave the O’s hope with his second goal of the season for 2-1, and there was more drama to come when the hosts were awarded an injury time penalty for a foul on Harrison Georgiou.
Rob Nash took the responsibility from the spot and made no mistake a grab a 2-2 draw and a share of the spoils for Andy Edwards’ under-18s.
