ORIENT found their shooting boots in putting Yeovil Town to the sword at Brisbane Road on Tuesday evening.

The Londoners struck four goals to register a comfortable win, with striker Kevin Lisbie rounding off a successful evening with his first strike of the season late on.

Last season’s top scorer was delighted to get off the mark and the former Charlton man is sure it will be the first of many this term.

“If you ask any striker they’d be lying if they said they weren’t more than happy when they get their first goal of the season,” he said. “Hopefully that’s the start and I can get a few more now.

“I don’t mind one-on-one situations, [through the goalkeeper’s legs] was the only place I could have put it so I was delighted to score for myself and the team.”

Lisbie’s goal was laid on by Ryan Brunt, who scored himself in the first half, and Lisbie enjoyed the partnership with the on loan Stoke man,

“You have to credit to him for my goal, he flicked it on,” he continued. “I thought he was strong all game.

“He took his goal very well and I think he deserved it as well.”

Next for the O’s is a trip to Crewe Alexandra this Saturday and Lisbie is raring to go as Orient search for a fourth straight win.

“When you look at the team we’ve had some major changes and it’s taken a while to get used to everyone,” he added.

“It’s starting to come together – we’re not getting carried away – but we’re starting to understand how each other plays and it’s looking good for the future.

“We’re looking forward to every single game now and I’m glad we’ve got another one so soon so we can get back on the bike and hopefully get another win to push us up the table.

“We know Crewe are a good team, we’ve watched them, and we’ll show them the respect we show every single team, but hopefully we can go up there and nick a 1-0.”
