ORIENT are sweating on the fitness of Martin Rowlands ahead of Saturday’s game against Doncaster Rovers.
The 33-year-old midfielder, who penned a new contract with the club this week, was substituted with a minor hamstring injury in last week’s game against Crewe and is a doubt for the visit of Doncaster as a result.
Anthony Griffith is suspended after being sent off at the Alexandra Stadium, so the likes of Jimmy Smith, Marc Laird and Mathieu Baudry will be fighting for a place in midfield.
Lloyd James and David Mooney have returned to training this week, so they could come back into Russell Slade’s squad.
The O’s boss said: “Martin’s probably 50/50 for Saturday. We’ll see how he is in the morning and make a decision from there.
“The other news is a little more positive – Lloyd James and David Mooney are back in training. They’ve only done a session or two this week, but it is good news for us because we have a busy month ahead.”
