LLOYD JAMES played an hour as an O’s reserve side beat a West Ham United XI in a behind closed doors match on Wednesday afternoon.
The summer signing has been out since late August with an ankle injury, but successfully came through his run out as the O’s won 3-2.
James was joined in the O’s team by fellow pros Marc Laird, David Mooney and Michael Symes, while trialist Jaime Peters featured at right back again.
David Mooney scored twice, and although West Ham pegged the O’s back on both occasions, youth team player Harrison Georgiou popped up with the winner in the second period.
O’s youth team boss Andy Edwards said: “It was a good performance and a good example set by the pros for the younger players on show.”
