ORIENT have signed Charlton Athletic forward Scott Wagstaff on a month-long loan deal.
The 22-year-old Charlton youth product links up with Russell Slade’s men in time for Saturday’s npower League 1 trip to AFC Bournemouth and will remain in E10 until November 11.
He has been with Charlton since the age of eight and has played 133 games for the club since making his first team breakthrough in 2007.
Maidstone-born Wagstaff scored for the Addicks in their Capital One Cup defeat to the O’s in August, and also found the net in their League 1 victory over Russell Slade’s men at The Valley in March.
O’s boss Slade said: “We’re delighted to have signed Scott on a month’s loan. He is a versatile forward and will add to our attacking options.
“He plays with bags of energy and we know all about his ability, having seen it first hand against us on several occasions over the past few seasons.”
Wagstaff played as a striker in that League Cup meeting with the east Londoners earlier this season and is equally at home on the flanks.
He will wear the number 27 shirt during his time with the club.
