KEVIN NUGENT insists the O’s won’t get ahead of themselves despite having an FA Cup path mapped in front of them.
The postponement of their original first round tie at Gloucester means they knew their potential second round opponents before this Wednesday’s rearranged date.
And although that would give the possibility of another tie against non-league opposition, the assistant boss isn’t looking beyond the meeting with the Tigers at Cheltenham’s Whaddon Road.
He said: “Of course we’d like a run – financially it would be good, but first of all we just have to think about winning this game.
“It will be a difficult game, it’s a cup tie away from home and that certainly won’t be easy against a good side.
“We’ve prepared for this one as we would any other game. We’ve got as much footage as we could of them, we’ve had our usual match reports and they’ll get the same respect as if we were playing a Premier League side.
“Saturday’s win was important for the players and for the club, although we felt as though it was coming.
“It was a nice feeling to get the three points. It will be a boost, but we don’t feel as though we were lacking in confidence beforehand.”
