NATHAN CLARKE is an injury doubt for Saturday’s npower League 1 match against Preston North End after limping out of Tuesday’s 3-2 win at Portsmouth with an ankle injury.
The O’s skipper was substituted with 18 minutes left to play and faces a battle to be fit for Saturday’s Brisbane Road fixture.
He was replaced by Mathieu Baudry at Fratton Park and the Frenchman is standing by in case Clarke doesn’t make the Preston game.
Orient will also have to check on the fitness of Dean Cox and Jimmy Smith before Saturday’s match.
Cox has been receiving treatment on a groin injury, while Smith picked up a knock.
