ORIENT boss Russell Slade is looking forward to a return to action when the O’s take on Swindon Town on Boxing Day.
Slade’s team had their game with Notts County called off on Saturday due to a waterlogged pitch just a couple of hours before the scheduled kick off.
It means the O’s festive schedule will now start against Paolo Di Canio’s Swindon and the Brisbane Road chief wants Orient to put the recent defeat to Scunthorpe behind them.
He said: “We will be hoping for a big crowd and a great atmosphere for the match against a high-flying Swindon side on Boxing Day.
“It was a great run up to the Scunthorpe game and we need to try and galvanise ourselves and start another one as soon as we can.
“It promises to be a tough and exciting match against a team who are in good form at the moment and we’re looking forward to it.”
Kevin Lisbie and Gary Sawyer remain injury doubts after picking up injuries in the defeat to Scunthorpe.
The O’s will make late assessments on their fitness ahead of the Swindon game.
