ORIENT will face Southend United over two legs for the right to play at Wembley in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final.

David Mooney’s 90th minute header gave Orient a 1-0 win over Yeovil Town on Tuesday and booked their place in the area final, while Southend needed penalties to defeat Oxford United after a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Kassam Stadium.
Southend, who are currently sixth in League 2, are two-time runners-up in this competition, while this season’s run matches Orient’s best ever effort in the Football League Trophy.
A draw to determine which team will play the first leg at home will be made at Football League HQ on Friday morning, and fixture and ticket information will be released when the details are known.
