FANCY watching 11 lads battling it out for the chance to sign a professional contract with Leyton Orient?
Then get yourself down to the Matchroom Stadium tonight, January 16, for the Final of Samsung’s Win A Pro Contract competition.
Take your free seat in the West Stand and watch as the finalists take on an O’s XI in front of manager Russell Slade and Swindon Town boss Paolo Di Canio, who will also be offering one lucky amateur the chance to turn professional.
Kick-off is at 7pm and refreshments will be available in the Gallery. Gates open at 6.30pm.
After the Final, Russell and Paolo will invite a select group of players to train with their respective first-team squad for a week before each rewarding one with a year-long professional contract.
Slade said: “I’ll be assessing the ability of the players but I’m also going to be looking at their fitness, intelligence on the pitch and attitude.
“Whoever I pick to win a contract with Leyton Orient will have a great chance to start a long and successful professional career. But they’ll need to work very hard to make it happen.”
