Leyton Orient are pleased to announce details of a new event to the corporate events calendar, the City Cup, which will be taking place on Friday 3rd May 2013 kicking off at 2pm.
The event will see businesses compete against each other in a five-a-side football tournament on the hallowed turf of the Matchroom Stadium with the winner taking home the silverware, as well as some Laurent Perrier champagne to help celebrate.
Teams will be made up of a squad of up to eight players and will be guaranteed to play four games over the course of the afternoon with a semi-final and final to decide the eventual City Cup champions.
Marketing & Partnerships Manager, Rob Noble, commented: “This is sure to be an enjoyable afternoon out of the office for all those who take part who will be able to combine playing fun football and networking with like-minded individuals, all in the unique surroundings of a professional Football League club stadium.”
The Club have teamed up with some illustrious names to partner with the event as Heineken, Laurent Perrier and Citibet Magazine have all showed their support through sponsorship in various forms.
City based betting magazine, Citibet, have come on board as a media partner and will help promote the event through advertising in their 100,000 weekly circulation magazine, while Heineken will also be adding their brand to the event billing through their sponsorship of the drinks on the day, with vouchers included as part of the package for teams entering the competition.
Laurent Perrier will be adding a to the glamour of the event through their sponsorship of the winners prizes which will include a bottle of their champagne awarded to each member of the winning team along with other spot prizes throughout the tournament.
