Symes joined the O’s from AFC Bournemouth at the start of last season though struggled to make an impact in E10 as he made 18 appearances and scored just twice with both coming from the penalty spot.
He joined Albion on loan in January last year where he was more successful as he found the net four times in 16 league appearances and will now re-join Gary Rowett’s side on a permanent basis.
