ORIENT’S players and staff enjoyed a day of white water rafting and raft building at the Lee Valley White Water Centre on Wednesday.
The players were split into teams and spent the first part of the day creating rafts and then throughout the afternoon took the white water course that was used in the London 2012 Olympics.
O’s manager Russell Slade was delighted with the outcome of the trip, “We wanted to give the lads something different as part of their pre-season preparation and the trip was all about team-building. We’ve got a great group here and the players and staff all enjoyed themselves. We’d like to thank all the staff at Lee Valley for having us.”
