Gyms Kitchen in Leyton High Road, the UK’s first protein based restaurant, have signed up as an official partner of Leyton Orient Football Club for the 2013-14 season.
With fresh ingredients, food prepared daily and an open plan kitchen, Gyms Kitchen offers fast and simple healthy meals with a close eye on nutritional values making it an ideal partner for the local professional football club located a stone’s throw down the street from Brisbane Road.
Their menu is a product of extensive market research into over 50 different diets, which included Premiership footballer Kyle Walker, along with a female distance runner and a professional body builder.
A regular in the restaurant over the last year has been Orient Captain Nathan Clarke who commented, “It’s a great place to go and enjoy a bite to eat, whether it’s lunch, dinner or just a quick snack, their menu offers a great variety of healthy foods that are perfect for a professional athlete and the guys in there are fantastic too.”
