ORIENT manager Russell Slade has swooped to sign AFC Bournemouth forward Jayden Stockley on a one-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old forward signed a five-year contract with the Cherries when he was just 16, and whilst his appearances at the Championship side have been largely off the bench, he recently spent an impressive loan spell at Woking where he notched 10 goals in 20 starts.
Slade believes that the forward will provide a different dimension to his strike-force.
He said: “Jayden will give us some much needed depth and provide us with a different option going forwards. He’s a physical player and can hopefully make an impact on games.”
Stockley is eligible to play in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy against Gillingham tomorrow (Tuesday) and will wear the number 22 during his time at the Club.
