This weekend’s game against Rotherham will kick off the traditional period of remembrance and the game will see a number of tickets available via the Ticket’s for Troops charity website www.ticketsfortroops.org.uk.
All serving members of HM Forces, and all those medically discharged from the Forces since the commencement of military action in Afghanistan in 2001 are eligible to register for tickets with Tickets for Troops and tickets for Saturday’s game against Rotherham now available for home fans.
Alongside this offer, the club will welcome a group of volunteers from the Royal British Legion who will be collecting money for the annual Poppy Appeal.
Marketing & Partnerships Manager Rob Noble commented, “Orient have a long standing association with the military and we are pleased to be able to support the charity in offering tickets for personnel and their families through this cause.”
As it is FA Cup weekend around Remembrance Sunday and not knowing if we will be home or away, we wanted to ensure we gave the Royal British Legion the opportunity to collect and we hope supporters will give generously as the annual Poppy Appeal gets underway.”
