The London based company have become the main sponsor of the Leyton Orient Academy Under 18 side with branding on their playing kit, while they have also taken up sponsorship of first team manager, Russell Slade’s away kit.

Host International provide host family accommodation for overseas students of varying age and nationality, visiting London and a number of other UK cities.  Some of their strongest areas are Gants Hill and Woodford, areas populated by many Orient Supporters.

The partnership is still in its infancy but has already reaped benefits, with the Club able to use Hosts International for housing trialists while the Orient staff take a look at the potential new recruits.

Neil Harvey, Business Development Manager at Hosts International commented, “We are proud to sponsor the Under 18s and also Russell Slade’s away kit.  One huge benefit of our relationship with the club is that the Academy has been able to take an increasing number of players on trial due to the fact that we can supply excellent housing at an affordable rate, rather than the club having to use expensive hotels.”

Tom Jeffes, Commercial Manager at Leyton Orient Football Club commented, “This partnership is a prime example of how we can work with sponsors to gain benefits for the club, while raising awareness of opportunities for supporters to raise extra funds for themselves. We are also looking at other new exciting ventures working in partnership with our Community Programme and Hosts International, with benefits for all parties. We are very grateful for Hosts International sponsorship for the season and look forward to working with them going forward for many years to come.”

Hosts International are always seeking new families throughout London, either on a part-time or more regular basis, particularly as demand continues to grow. It is a not particularly well-known fact that any individual is allowed to earn in the region of £4,300 per year, tax free, from renting out their spare room.
