Supporters that attended the game on Saturday would have been greeted by staff from Nando’s across Essex who were activating the Nando’s match sponsorship by giving out vouchers for free half chicken valid at their stores across the county, as well as free masks in the Baskin Robbins Family Stand. Away fans didn’t miss out either with the vouchers valid for two locations in Preston too.

The Nando’s mascot Barci the Cockerel partnered with Theo and helped out pre-match with entertaining supporters in the pre-match fan zone as well as posing for photos with people throughout the day.

Nando’s also provided the opportunity for supporters not attending the game to win from the partnership with the @leytonorientfc official twitter account running a retweet competition with one lucky winner receiving a voucher for full platter and this was won by Barry Grestock.

Commercial Manager for the O’s, Tom Jeffes, commented, “We always encourage match sponsors to activate their sponsorship of fixtures in a pro-active way and Nando’s were fantastic on Saturday with vouchers for free food and giveaways in the family stand. Nando’s will be monitoring the return on these vouchers and if successful then we hope to see them repeat their sponsorship in the future.”

Supporters at the game that picked up a voucher have until 31st December to redeem them while season ticket holders are reminded they can get 20% off their meal at stores across Essex with the voucher available in the season ticket holders discount book that were distributed at the start of the season. If season ticket holders did not receive their booklet, then they are available from reception at the club.
