Orient skipper Nathan Clarke is a concern for the O’s having missed training on Monday though it would be his 400th start if he does make it, whilst Lloyd James continues to recover from an ankle injury that saw him drop to the bench on Saturday. Bobby Reid has been ruled out for the home side with Joe Bryan should also feature despite being a previous concern having missed Saturday’s defeat against Sheffield United.

City boss Sean O’Driscoll has hinted he will keep changes to a minimum from Saturday’s team.
“I hope it’s scrappy and tight because I think then we would do a good job on them,” said O’Driscoll.
“They’re a team who’s not going to worry about the opposition. We could do anything weird and wonderful and they will come out and play the same way.
“To get the amount of points they have, we’ve got to give them credit for that.”
The sides have only played each four times since 1990 with the last trip to Ashton Gate coming in the 2006-07 season when the home side ran out two winners despite a second half penalty from Matt Lockwood for the O’s.
City have drawn eight games which is more than any other side in League 1 this season and have seen an upturn in form recently after a miserable start having lost just one of their last five.
