It is with great sadness that we report the death on the morning of the 15th December of former O’s player Colin Harvey Worrell, having turned 70 in August this year and battling over past few years in a nursing home with Parkinson’s and Dementia.
Colin, a full-back, joined O’s from Norwich City in September 1964, having made 9 League appearances for the Canaries.
He made 51 League, 1 FA Cup and 1 League Cup appearances for O’s.  After short spells with Charlton Athletic and Romford he retired from the game owing to a serious kidney complaint.
The club send their condolences to his wife Janice, family and friends.
