The half time competition at Tuesday’s game saw three lucky fans get the chance to play on the pitch with the aim of the game to kick the ball from the corner of the pitch towards the centre circle (representing a donut!) and the winner being the person who got the ball nearest the centre circle.
Supporter Neil Turner was the closest and he picked up the top prize of a years’ supply of Dunkin’ Donuts. He is pictured here with Jim Johnstone, General Manager of Dunkin’ Donuts UK and Mike Brazis, Director of Culinary Innovation alongside the other Orient fans that took part in the competition.
Supporters in the hospitality areas at the game also got to sample the donuts after the game as well as the Dunkin’ Donuts original blend coffee which was provided by the match sponsors.
The new Dunkin’ Donuts store will be only the second in the UK and is located on Moulsham Street in Chelmsford. Theo the Wyvern will be popping along to the official opening at 1.30pm on Friday 14th February and all fans are welcome to come along.
The Chelmsford store is only the second Dunkin’ Donuts store in the UK following the opening of their Harrow branch before Christmas and is part of a rapid expansion with plenty more stores opening in the area over the next few years.
