A disappointed Russell Slade spoke briefly to the press after his side let slip a 1-0 lead at home to Oldham.
“I’m devastated as the manager of the football club and so are the players. We had some wonderful opportunities to score goals tonight but only took one of those which wasn’t good enough.
“The work ethic and commitment is unquestioned with the players and I’m so disappointed with some of the crowd not getting behind the team and even a few of them booing us at the end which I think is a joke. I’ve seen some people criticise me and say we have given up, but we haven’t given up, this team doesn’t give up. I’m frustrated tonight and frustrated for the players.
“It will be difficult to lift everyone for Saturday against Bradford but we will do it and get on with it because that is what we do.”
Meanwhile the O’s boss revealed he’s waiting for more information on the injury sustained to Marvin Bartley.
“I think it was a hamstring issue with Marvin but we’ll need to wait and see to find out more there.”
