Referee Graham Salisbury from Lancashire will take charge of the away leg at London Road on Saturday. Salisbury, who has refereed 29 games throughout the Football League this season, took charge of the O’s against Notts County back in March for the 0-0 draw at Meadow Lane – a game which saw three bookings. In those 29 games he has issued 82 yellow cards and 2 red.
Mick Russell from Hertfordshire will don the whistle for the return game in E10 next week and like Salisbury, he has refereed throughout the Football League this season. He has twice been in charge of Orient games, firstly for the 3-2 home win over Port Vale which saw seven yellow cards and then the 2-1 defeat at Crawley last month where there were no cautions. In 27 games overall he has shown 71 yellow cards and three red.
