GOALKEEPER Adam Legzdins has agreed to sign for Leyton Orient.
The former Derby County and Burton Albion ‘keeper has agreed to put pen-to-paper on a two-year contract with the O’s.
The 27-year-old was a trainee at Birmingham City where he had a number of loan spells despite not making an appearance for the Blues.
Moves to Crewe Alexandra and Burton Albion followed and it was at Albion where he made his name, playing every game in the 2010-11 season and winning the supporters’ and players’ player of the year awards.
His good form earned him a move to Championship side Derby County for an undisclosed fee that summer where he has been ever since. He made 33 appearances for the Rams in the 2012-13 season but following the expiration of his contract at Pride Park this summer he was released.
Legzdins is eligble to play for Latvia through his grandparents and has been linked with an international call up in the past.
