The sessions, which will primarily take place indoors at the Score Centre across the road from the stadium, will be fun, enjoyable and develop all areas of the players football skills, balance and coordination.
Under the umbrella of the Leyton Orient Football Club’s junior membership scheme, those who attend will receive a discount on the football sessions, if they are signed up to the newly re-branded junior supporters club (a free to join club with full details to be announced soon).
Leyton Orient Trust’s Creating Opportunities Manager, Trevor Duberry said, “We are really excited at the potential to provide regular weekly football activity for the children of the local community.”
“There are many community projects and schemes currently run by the Trust and we are constantly asked whether we can provide more coaching opportunities. We hope that this will also help bring the Club even closer to the heart of this community, as the players will become junior club members and hopefully get the chance to see some first team games. Who knows we may even identify the next Dean Cox or Kevin Lisbie.”
Sessions take place every Saturday from 9.30am to 11.00am (£7) and on Wednesday’s from 4.30pm – 5.30pm (£5) with a £1 discount for members.
