The O’s have once again teamed up with Essex County Cricket Club and will be present at the Nat West T20 Blast fixture against Sussex Sharks taking place this Friday 25th July at the Essex County Ground, Chelmsford.
If you’re coming to the game make sure you wear your Orient shirts and get your photo with Theo the Wyvern who will be with staff promoting the upcoming friendlies with QPR and Ipswich Town ahead of the new season.
Not only this but Theo will be popping along to club sponsors Dunkin’ Donuts Chelmsford branch in the afternoon where they will be doing a special offer of a FREE small coffee to anyone wearing a Leyton Orient shirt from 2pm on Friday afternoon!
Leyton Orient have long had an association with cricket as the club was formed by members of a Glyn Cricket Club while until the late 1970’s Leyton was the home of Essex Cricket who played their games at the then county ground on Crawley Road, just off Leyton High Road.
Show your Orient colours whilst supporting the Essex Eagles this Friday and you may get a special treat!
