The 2014-15 Leyton Orient replica shirts in junior sizes will feature the charity, Action for A-T’s, logo as main shirt sponsors 666Bet’s chosen charity partner.
The online bookmakers were last week announced as the football club’s main shirt sponsor and they have taken the opportunity to promote the children’s charity to supporters over the course of the season.
Barry Martin, CEO of 666Bet, said: “Action for A-T is doing some incredible work to help children with this rare, genetic and degenerative disease that affects multiple systems of the body. It is absolutely heart breaking for any parent when their child is diagnosed with a serious illness and it is imperative that we find ways to raise money to fund this vital research. 666Bet is only too happy to give Action for A-T the chance to be on the Leyton Orient junior shirts as part of our sponsorship deal with the club.”
Sean Kelly, Chief Executive of Action for A-T, said: “We are extremely grateful to 666Bet for offering us the chance to promote Action for A-T on the junior shirts of Leyton Orient. The shirt sponsorship will allow us to reach new audiences and raise awareness of the rare condition Ataxia Telangiectasia. Funds are predominantly raised from donations and individuals taking part in sporting events, and this enables Action for A-T to fund pioneering research into the rare childhood condition and offer hope to the families currently living with A-T.”
The Action for A-T logo will also appear on the Leyton Orient Academy Under 9’s shirts for the season giving further exposure as the next generation of Orient youngsters play against teams across the south east region.
Adult replica shirts will be on sale from the Club Shop at the stadium and online from 10am on Friday 15th August with the junior sizes available from early next week. Retail partners Just Sport will also be doing infant sizes this season with full pricing and size details announced on Friday morning.
