McAnuff helps Jamaica to Caribbean Cup title

JOBI McANUFF scored in the 4-3 penalty shootout victory over Trinidad & Tobago that handed Jamaica the Caribbean Cup last night. 
The Reggae Boyz have now qualified for the special edition of the Copa America Centenario, which is the 100th anniversary of the South American Championships. Under a special arrangement, six teams from CONCACAF plus the 10 South American nations will participate in the tournament in June 2016.

JOBI McANUFF gave a ‘man of the match’ performance as Jamaica eased pass Antigua and Barbuda 3-0 on a Friday evening in the Caribbean Cup game.
The winger played 83 minutes with the Jamaica Observer commenting: “McAnuff continued his talismanic performance in the midfield, dribbling, scheming, orchestrating cute one-two passes and having a go at goal himself at times.”
McAnuff played again on Sunday as The Reggae Boyz then beat Haiti 2-0 to progress to the Caribbean Cup Final to face Trinidad & Tobago be played tomorrow (Tuesday). 

In the first game last week McAnuff impressed as he played the full 90 minutes in their opening Caribbean Cup game which ended 1-1 with Martinique.
