Having won the South East regional division earlier on this season, the young O’s then defeated Bournemouth 3-1 in the Southern Final last month to book a place in the National final.
Danny Webb’s side will make the most of the experience by travelling on the Saturday to watch the first team’s League 1 fixture at Chesterfield before staying in a hotel.
The squad will then make the short journey to Moor Park, which is Derby County’s U21s ground, on Sunday February 15 for the tie which will kick-off at 2pm.
Everyone at Leyton Orient would like to congratulate the U16s for their achievements so far this season and wish them the best of luck for Sunday.
Speaking ahead of the match U16s coach Danny Webb said: “It has been a brilliant season so far and winning the final will cap off a great year for all of the players. They have done incredibly well to get this far and it speaks volumes that we have offered the largest number of scholarships in the Club’s recent history out to this group.”
