Orient defender Andrea Dossena is keen for Saturday’s 3-0 win over Oldham Athletic to be the start of an improved run of results at home.
The victory was only their third home league win of the season, and their first in 2015.
The 33-year-old played his part in the win, scoring his first goal since netting for Liverpool in a 4-1 Premier League victory against Manchester United at Old Trafford in March 2009.
And the Italian knows they need to build on the impressive victory if they are to move out of the League One relegation zone.
“We picked up a very important three points because we need to build some confidence here at home,” said Dossena.
“We are not in a good situation, but it is a team that works hard every day in training and we need to pick up some more points at home and this is the way we have to play until the end of the season. We will enjoy the win, but we want to keep it going next week.”
