Orient have agreed a deal to extend goalkeeper Alex Cisak’s loan stay at the club until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old initially joined on a one-month emergency loan deal from Premier League side Burnley, but having represented the O’s on seven occasions in that time, both teams have now agreed to extend Cisak’s loan until May 3.
During his spell with Orient, Cisak kept back-to-back clean sheets against former side Oldham Athletic and Walsall.
And on signing a loan deal until the end of the season, Cisak told Orient Player: “I am happy to have extended my stay and get a few more games under my belt.
“Unfortunately we didn’t get the results in the last two games, but we need to get some more wins. We have got three big games coming up in a short space of time, starting with Yeovil on Saturday.”
“I have been in a relegation battle before with Oldham so I have experienced it before and hopefully I can bring that knowledge of when we stayed up there to the boys here. Last year was a different experience for the boys here, but we all have to stick together and with the fans on our side we can get some more wins under our belt.”
