Orient duo Jobi McAnuff and Ryan Hedges have been called up for international duty
Loanee Hedges has been called up for international duty with Wales under-21s, who are managed by former O’s boss Geraint Williams, ahead of their UEFA U21 Championships Qualifying Group 5 opener against Bulgaria.
Hedges joined the O’s on loan from Premier League side Swansea City in January, and has featured on 10 occasions for Orient, scoring in wins against Walsall and Yeovil Town.
The match takes place at Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday, 31 March.
This will be the third time Hedges will have represented the under-21s, following appearances in the 2-2 and 1-1 draws with Finland and Lithuania respectively back in September 2014.
Meanwhile, McAnuff has been called up to represent Jamaica.
The 33-year-old will feature for the Reggae Boyz in two friendlies against Veneuzela and Cuba on March 27 and 30 respectively.
