Tax advisory firm and long standing corporate partners of Leyton Orient have confirmed that they will join Matchroom Sport as a main sponsor for Sunday’s Orient Legends match in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.
The Westleton Drake brand will appear on the shirts worn by the Men United Celebrity XI on Sunday and company founder and O’s fan Daniel Hyde will take his place in Harry Redknapp’s squad.
Westleton Drake hosted its annual ‘Charity Shield’ tournament at the Matchroom Stadium last week, with over seventy players taking part and at least £7,500 being donated to Prostate Cancer UK from the event.
Daniel Hyde said “It is a tremendous honour to support this marvellous event and further support Errol, not just in fundraising, but in the tireless work he does in raising awareness about this disease. After a tough season, events like this show all that is good about this wonderful football club”.
Errol McKellar said “I’m delighted Westleton Drake will be supporting the game through the sponsorship. I had the pleasure of attending their Charity Shield tournament last week and presenting the awards. We really appreciate the funds raised and support given by Westleton Drake and I really can’t wait for Sunday to come along now, it’s going to be a great day!”
Tickets for Sunday’s game are on sale now priced at just £10 for adults and £5 concessions. Further details of who is playing in the game can be found here or you can book your tickets online now here.
