Leyton Orient and Hartford Athletic, based in the US, have announced today an exciting new partnership supporting both clubs on and off the field.
Orient forward Paul McCallum is keen to hit the ground running with the O’s after signing a two-year deal.
McCallum and the rest of the Orient squad settled down to pre-season work this week, and now the summer break is over, McCallum cannot wait for August 8 when the O’s step out at the Matchroom Stadium against Barnet in their Sky Bet League Two opener.
The 21-year-old will be working for O’s head coach Ian Hendon, who he spent time under at West Ham United, and was also joined by former Hammers team-mate Blair Turgott.
And the frontman admitted he was looking forward to working with the duo once again, and hopes to help lead the O’s promotion push this term.
