The O’s will feature in their first pre-season friendly since returning from the training camp in Spain when they make the short trip to Colchester United tomorrow (3pm kick-off).
Orient returned from the trip on Monday, having played three games out in Spain, losing to Middlesbrough (3-1) and Huddersfield Town (2-0) before a 5-0 win against Los Iberos.
Prior to this, the O’s opened their pre-season campaign with a 2-1 defeat at Braintree Town on July 10.
Ian Hendon’s side have come up against the U’s a number of times in recent seasons, and the last encounter saw Tony Humes’ outfit emerge 2-0 victors at the Weston Homes Community Stadium back on January 24.
This is the U’s fifth friendly, and they have won all four – with victories against West Ham United XI (1-0), Bishop’s Stortford (3-2), Brentwood Town (4-0) and Heybridge Swifts (8-0).

From the south (Ipswich bound carriageway)
To access the stadium from the south, turn off at Junction 28, turning right at the first roundabout. Go across the bridge and then go straight over the second roundabout, before turning right into United Way from the third roundabout. You are now at the stadium.
From the north (London bound carriageway)
To access the stadium from the north, turn off at Junction 28, turning left at the first roundabout. Turn right into United Way from the second roundabout. You are now at the stadium.
The postcode of the stadium is CO4 5UP, but you may find that your sat nav system does not acknowledge this postcode at present.
It is recommended to use CO4 5JS, which is the nearby Rapid Electronics factory.
The nearest station to the ground is Colchester North which is just under two miles away from the stadium.
