Bradford City have completed the signing of former Leyton Orient skipper Nathan Clarke.
Clarke joins the Bantams three years after arriving at Orient where he was immediately installed as the Club captain by manager at the time Russell Slade.
The 31-year-old made a total of 131 appearances for the O’s during his time at the Matchroom Stadium, scoring twice, but requested to leave the Club earlier on this summer due to family reasons.
Orient Head Coach Ian Hendon said to leytonorient.com:
“I would have liked to have worked with Clarkey but due to his personal reasons he has decided that he needed to leave the Club and has now gone to pastures new at Bradford. I would like to wish him all the best for the future.”
