Orient goalkeeper Alex Cisak has been named in the 23-man squad for Australia’s World Cup qualifiers against Bangladesh and Tajikstan.

The 26-year-old is a new addition to Head Coach Ange Postecoglou’s squad for the two games, and if selected it will see him make his first senior start for his country.

Cisak, who featured six times for the Australia U20 squad, will head to the national training camp in Perth following the O’s game against Bristol Rovers on August 29, before potentially competing in the two qualifiers against Bangladesh and Tajikstan on September 3 and 8 respectively, before returning to the Club on September 9.

That means Cisak will miss the O’s games against Luton Town on September 1 and Exeter City on September 5, before becoming available for the September 12 match at Cambridge United.
