Orient’s Harry Lee and Sandro Semedo played their part as Welling United picked up a 1-0 National League win over Kidderminster Harriers.
Lee, who has been with the Wings since August, produced a great performance in midfield and was in the Non League Paper’s Team of the Week, while Semedo was making his debut having joined on loan earlier in the week. The only goal of the game came from former O George Porter.
Meanwhile, midfielder Montel Agyemang made his Grays Athletic debut on Friday night as they played Kingstonian in a Ryman Premier encounter.
He played the whole 90 minutes, but was unable to stop the Blues, managed by O’s youth team coach Mark Bentley, from losing 3-1.
Semedo and Lee are likely to feature again for Welling tonight when they host Bromley at Park View Road, while Agyemang’s Grays are due to face East Thurrock United in the Ryman League Cup on Wednesday.
