Orient’s Harry Lee and Sandro Semedo played their part as Welling United lost out against local rivals Bromley on Tuesday.
Although Welling United were defeated 2-1 by the Lilywhites, both Lee and Semedo featured, and the result saw Welling drop to 17th place in the National League. Lee did go close for the hosts, but his left footed effort from outside the box was just wide.
Semedo was replaced 20 minutes from time by Sahr Kabba and the only goal scored by Welling on the night came from young striker Michael Chambers, with the score 1-1 at half time. Lee played for the whole 90 minutes, but was unable to stop the Wings from slipping to their first defeat in four games.
Semedo and Lee are likely to feature again for Welling when they take on Boreham Wood on Saturday.
