Harry Lee and Sandro Semedo – Boreham Wood v Welling United (National League)
O’s midfielders Harry Lee and Sandro Semedo were in action as the Wings lost out 2-0 to Boreham Wood in the National League on Saturday.
Lee made the starting XI for the Kent side, while Semedo was on the bench at Meadow Park.
They fell behind to Jamie Lucas’ strike in the first half, before the hosts added a second through Joe Devera, before Semedo replaced Xavier Vidal in the 65th minute. To compound their woes, Harry Osbourne was shown a straight red card for a foul on former O Charlie MacDonald.
Welling will hope to bounce back on Tuesday when they host Lincoln City in another league game.
Montel Agyemang – Hanwell Town v Grays Athletic (FA Cup)
Orient youngster Montel Agyemang played the entire match as the Blues just edged past Hanwell Town to make it to the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup.
Jay Leader had given Mark Bentley’s side a 17th minute lead, only to be pegged back almost instantly.
The scores remained level and a replay looked almost certain before the Ryman Premier side were awarded a late penalty, which Dumebi GB-Dumaka slotted home to secure their passage into the next round and a fixture against Lee and Semedo’s Welling United.
Grays are back in action on Wednesday night when they host Leatherhead in a league fixture at Mill Field.
