REACTION: Hendon "It was a game of two halves"

access_time 6 years ago

Head Coach Ian Hendon was delighted with his side’s second half showing as they came from behind to secure a share of the spoils against Oxford United.

The O’s trailed 2-0 at the break, but Jay Simpson pulled one back before Scott Kashket struck his first senior goal for the club to seal a point for the hosts.
And while disappointed with the first half performance, he was pleased with the impact substitutes Ollie Palmer, Jack Payne and Kashket had on the game as the O’s bounced back from last weekend’s 3-2 loss at Crawley Town.
